Review: Too Cool for School Egg Mousse Pack

This product has been on the market for a while. I wasn't that keen at first, since I don't think a egg mousse pack could effectively remove sebum and dirt on the skin, at least not in the long-term. However, due to its increased popularity, I must say that I am really intrigued. There must a reason why everyone is raving about it, hence this time I will be the lab rat myself!

Review: Innisfree Eco Safety Daily Sunblock or Daily UV Protection Cream SPF35/PA++

Hi~ I am back with another sunscreen review! I hope you guys aren't too fed up with my obsession of finding the best sunscreen. But sunscreen is something that I finish the quickest and there are honestly tonnes of sunscreen out there in the market. Innisfree is one such brand that always comes out with newer and fancier sunscreen.

10 different Innisfree sunscreens serving different functions, skin types and environments

This Innisfree Eco Safety Daily Sunblock I bought a few months ago all the sudden becomes an outdated folk sitting dismally in the wardrobe when Innisfree repackage and relaunch its sunscreen range.

But after comparing further, I realize that although the packagings are different, their ingredients are more or less the same. So this review remains relevant (at least to some degree) for all of you who are considering getting Innisfree sunscreen.

Review: Tony Moly Intense Care Galactomyces First Essence 94.5%

I am crazy about treatment essences. You can even say that I collect them like stamps. The passion starts from my first bottle of Nature Republic First Essence and then evolved through Primera Miracle Seed Essence, IOPE, Hera, Lirikos, Secret Key, Missha and so on. Currently, I have at least 15-20 different treatment essences in my cupboard. And today, it is Tony Moly's turn.

I don't usually use a lot of Tony Moly products. Most of them fail to impress me. I know the brand is famous for its tomato mask, mascara and snail products. I've tried the Tomatox Magic Massage Mask and was seriously unimpressed. The same goes for its snail products. And Tony Moly isn't the most innovative brand, unlike Innisfree which always comes out with better and fancier ingredients. Although I am not a fan of Tony Moly products, but since I am a fan of treatment essence, I couldn't resist the temptation to get this Galactomyces First Essence when it was on sales!

Review: IOPE Bio Anti-Aging Trial Kit

I have heard a lot of people talking about IOPE, especially their Bio-Essence, Moistgen and Super Vital lines. I have actually tried them out a long long ago but never really got a time to really talking and reviewing about them. Since I am speeding up on my skincare review recently, I thought it would be a perfect opportunity for me to share my 2 percent on their Bio Anti-Aging line. I didn't take any photos of the Moistgen and Whitegen lines despite having tried out a set of miniature for both lines, so I think I won't be reviewing about them in the future. Anyone have any questions about those two lines are more than welcome to leave a message down below.

Review: My Holy Grail Shampoo for Sensitive, Flaky and Dry Scalp - Innisfree Zero Shampoo for Dry Scalp

I am quite a junkee when it comes to skincare products, but for haircare, I just have to jump from products to products because no shampoos seem to work well on me. I have tried dozens, from Loreal Paris, Dove, Schwarzkopf, Tsubaki to Ryoe and Yungo. I even did a comparison review on those shampoos I've tried in the past. Although they are different in many ways, but their share one similarity - they don't really agree with my scalp 95% of the time.

Drugstore brands like Loreal Paris, Dove, Clear, Aquair, Sunsilk, and Head & Shoulder were completely useless on my scalp. I'm not sure why, but probably because of the SLSs, excessive fragrance and low-quality ingredients used. Silicone might be a reason as well.

And then I moved over to pricier brands like Tsubaki, Ryoe and Yungo. My scalp fared better with Tsubaki but it made my hair drier. Ryoe green bottle Cheongamo deep cleanses my scalp but it is also pretty drying for my hair. Yungo is a total mess as my scalp becomes super irritated after first few uses. I used to do well on Ryoe purple Jayangjunmo for Sensitive Scalp but somehow my second bottle doesn't work as effective as the first one on my sensitive scalp. I just have to look for alternative which is how I found this Innisfree Zero Shampoo.

Review: Nature Republic Argan Essential Deep Care Hair Pack

I always want to try this Argan Oil Hair Mask from Nature Republic. Not only does it look adorable, it also gives a very natural image that reminds me of Amazon rain forest. So when I'm done with my Ryoe Jayangjunmo Anti-Hair Loss Treatment, I quickly got my hand on one. Initially, I wanted to buy to it from Nature Republic store but since it was always out of stock when I visited its Leisure Mall and Sunway Pyramid branches, I couldn't wait any longer but to get it from Hermo. Luckily, Hermo always has it in stock most of the time.

Comparison Review: Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution || Cosrx Mela14 White Ampule

I have been getting a lot of requests asking me to write a comparison review on these two products - Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution and Cosrx Mela14 White Ampule. So her it is.

Technically, they are both very different types of product: one uses exfoliation and the other fades hyperpigmentation and inhibits the enzyme tyrosinase that causes dark spots. In other words, one works from the outside and the other one inside out.

I started using Kiehl's much earlier than Cosrx, like 5-6 months ahead. I used Kiehl's for 3 months and followed that up with Laneige White Plus Original Essence and Clear C Advanced Effector. And the great thing was that I see results from all of them with consecutive uses. I don't use them alternatively to make sure that I know which ones work and which one doesn't.

After 6 months, my skin looks like this:

Kiehl's fades my freckles whereas Laneige brightens up my complexion

And I got to know Cosrx after I'm done with Laneige and wanted to pick up on Kiehl's again. I was faced with a dilemma at that time, because I really wanted to try Cosrx but I missed Kiehl's, which is why I decided to write this comparison review.

Are you interested to find out how they compare with each other? Let's go through the reviews in details!
